01 Griffin Creek Pinot Gris
Description: Developed on the nose - lanolin and pears, not as lively and fresh as it may have been a year or so ago. The palate is medium to full bodied, nicely textured with pear flavours dominating; could almost be a Chardonnay. Nutty and melon hints. A hint of vegetalness coming through, again, perhaps due to age. Very dry finish. A hint of residual sugar may have benefited.
