Most of the Oregon Wine Cellars Etc customer base is local, thanks to the local Oregon coast community. We have become successful due to this support, and at 13 years old we are fast becoming a senior business in downtown Coos Bay Oregon.
In 1993 Geno and Tamara Landrum did a test market with the wine bottle shop called Marshfield Wine & Cheese Emporium, located in the Old Golden Warehouse. After 3 years there, the company purchased the building that it is currently operating in, which is conveniently located in downtown Coos Bay. Before the move, it was decided to change the name from Marshfield Wine & Cheese Emporium to Oregon Wine Cellars, Etc. (because in the beginning they specialized in promoting Oregon Wines.)
Tamara Landrum is the main player in the company and with her leadership, the company has expanded into several major departments besides Oregon Wines. Some of those departments include: Oregon Wines; Imported Wines; Baltic Amber Jewelry; Oregon Condiments; Glassware; Original Artwork from Local Artists; Quality Canned Seafood; Imported Beers and other wine related items.
